Our history

If you're looking for an exciting background full of mystery and intrigue then I'm afraid you've come to the wrong place. Our copywriting services history is very straightforward so you may want to skip the boring corporate bit and go straight to how we work.

CopyWrite was established in 2001 by managing director, Jeanette Dyson.

Jeanette has a background in PR and worked for one of Yorkshire's top marketing and design agencies before moving in-house to become the PR officer at one of the country's leading regional shopping centres.

Recognising that there was a shortage of professional copywriters, Jeanette decided to do something about it and set up CopyWrite. Now, with a long and growing list of satisfied clients, CopyWrite provides professional copywriting services, which range from writing for websites to writing and editing corporate magazines.

How we work

When it comes to working with clients we're pretty flexible and can usually fit in with what you need.

Working with agencies

Many clients are marketing, design or web agencies, who occasionally need copywriting services but the level of work doesn't justify the cost of employing a professional copywriter full or part-time.

Similarly, agencies sometimes use CopyWrite to extend their own service provision, allowing them to offer their clients the additional benefit of professional copywriting services.

Working in-house

We also work directly with companies as an extra copywriting resource for their marketing department.

Costs

Our copywriting costs depend on what you want us to do.

Once we have the full brief we can provide you with a cost (based on a £375 day rate) that won't change unless the brief changes. Please see our terms and conditions for full details.

We're happy to work on an ad-hoc project basis or an ongoing contract basis.
