CopyWrite

We use words more than ever in today’s digital world. Here at CopyWrite we’re not satisfied with any old words; we strive for words that grab your customers by the scruff of the neck and demand: ‘READ THIS’.

It’s a busy old world out there.

Everyone’s either tweeting, posting and blogging or re-tweeting, boasting and vlogging.

Getting your voice heard above the background roar can seem a Herculean task.

But it’s not impossible. First get the basics right. Have something meaningful, intriguing and valuable to say to your audience. Then make sure it’s written properly. That’s where a good – sorry – great copywriter can help.

Top 5 reasons to use a professional copywriter:

  1. Tell the story your customers want to read.
  2. Show your company’s true colours: are you friendly and fun, serious and sincere?
  3. Talk your customers’ language in a professional way.
  4. Cheaper – more cost-effective than a marketing agency and you know who is doing the writing.

AND… the best reason of all:

  1. You won’t have to write it yourself!

Imagine! Freedom from sitting at your desk all day waiting for divine inspiration… leaving you free to concentrate on what you’re good at.

About

I’m Jeanette, and the face behind CopyWrite. I started working as a freelance copywriter in 2001, a few months after my first daughter was born.

At the time I was PR officer at Meadowhall, the regional shopping centre near Sheffield. It was a fantastic job: great fun, lots of prospects and I loved the team I worked with. But on the flip side of the coin was my baby daughter, the prospect of avoiding a daily 90-minute commute and the opportunity to work for myself. No contest!

It was a good decision. Work/life balance was great while the children were young. I’ve met so many new people (many who are now good friends), joined new teams (albeit temporarily) and learned new skills. Over the years I’ve worked on a chocolate box of projects and leapt (forget stepped) out of my comfort zone too many times to count. Those experiences often turn out to be the most enjoyable and professionally satisfying.

In a nutshell, my work is about translating what a client wants to say into words that their customers want to hear. It’s an approach that works well. In almost 2 decades, almost all my work has come from repeat business and referrals.

Today, my baby daughters have transformed into adults. One thing that’s remained the same though is my love for writing, and the enjoyment I get from seeing clients delighted with their new words.

If you’re searching for a professional copywriter who can translate your brief into words that work hard, give me a call or email me today.

Aspiring author

By the way, I love writing so much that I also write in my spare time. In 2020, I finally published my first novel, The Fate Switch. It’s a fantasy adventure novel for children aged 11+ but a surprising number of adults love it too. If you’re looking for an entertaining read, please give it a try, and I’d love to know what you think.

Don’t just take my word for it…

The proof is in the pudding as they say, or in this case in the portfolio and testimonials. The portfolio gives you an idea of my writing abilities, while the testimonials tell you what my clients really think.

Forget about what you want to tell your customers. Instead, write about what they want to hear.
